Couple Aborts Twin Boys Because They Want a Girl Using IVF

First off, I feel sorry for them losing they're daughter! I can't imagine the pain of losing a child...

These people wanted a daughter, and that's okay! but to abort twins just because of they're gender is horrific! this couple wanted another child, obviously. 1 little girl. But instead they were blessed with twins, twin boys...and what do they do? do they rejoice about being blessed with twins? NO. They ABORT them! just because they weren't girls! I thought a parent was suppose to love you unconditionally no matter what! not abort you because of your gender! It's even more horrific that these people are parents! they obviously don't love they're kid! just look at the article! those 2 little boys were they're kids and they flat out killed them! and what's worse is that they're obviously insane and need help fast! to keep aborting children until the desired child is found is horrible and inhuman! and nobody knows how much damage that does to your body! who knows, that very abortion could cause her to lose that little girl she's obsessed with having! This story just sickens me! these people do not deserve children! theirs millions of people who would have wanted those little boys! but these selfish people literally killed them!

I'm sorry but this couple seems to be trying to "replace" the daughter they lost by having another daughter. Every person is unique and the child they lost is sadly gone. They could have 15 more daughters and it won't bring back the one they lost. They need grief counseling, not IVF.

I don't know how to comment on something like this, because i still cant wrap my brain around it...Could it be that deep down most feel "life " begins at conception?..

Just for the record, you don't have to identify as pro-life to be disgusted by this story, not specifically by the abortion but really by the overall idea of these people being parents at all--I suspect they'll even give this future daughter their dead child's name! I'd be curious to know why this woman couldn't just get therapy, like reasonable people do when they suffer a traumatic loss. It would be cheaper than IVF, and help much more quickly anyway.

This can't be real!!! How can anyone be allowed to get an abortion just because they don't like the sex of the child(ren). If she intended to get pregnant then aborted this is murder!! What's the problem with adoption of the boy's and a girl for them? These people being allowed to conceive at all at this point should be banned!!!

Even if we leave the morality of the issue out of the debate, this couple should be barred from pursuing this procedure. The fact that they would willing kill their own children just because of their gender... well it proves that they aren't sane doesn't it? They should be seeking serious therapy for their mental issues - not trying to have a baby.

Could they not have given birth to the boys and placed them up for adoption?
My heart breaks for those babies, and for the couple's existing sons, who were lucky to be conceived sooner, rather than later, than their disposed of brothers.

I recently had a baby myself, and I cannot imagine how I would feel if something were to happen to my little boy. While I feel for this couple after the loss of their infant daughter, I in no way condone the act of aborting their twin boys. If they truly did not want them, why not put them up for adoption? There are so many couples out there who cannot conceive and would be happy to have even just one baby, let alone twins. Just because their parents did not want them, does not take away those babies' right to life, and it does not change the fact that God had a plan for them- a plan that will not be realized because of their parents' selfish decision.
