Does it mean they do not want to know IF he speaks true facts. Does it mean they are too lazy or too afraid to know? Either way Beck is not the one to blame. If Beck WAS spouting only lies ...he would have been removed by now...last time I checked he was still on.
To the Beck detractors....don't you believe him when he said that George Soros'
people tried to shut him up. Only someone who was willing to tip their hand as to what they were really up to would attempt to do something as foolish as that.
Actually, they can be disproved. Take the Tower of Babel even referenced here. Beck based his claims off of an artists interpretation, not any actual historical evidence. Then, of course, there's his frequent assertion that this nation was founded as a Christion nation. It isn't. Point blank.
"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion" - Treaty with Tripoli.
"the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State." - Jefferson's Letter to the Danbury Baptists
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" - 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
So, yes, Beck has been disproved.
Anyone who needs to display political concepts in football coach format cannot be taken seriously. Whether the facts are true or not, his delivery makes a mockery of serious news. Same to O'Reilly: "Does it disturb you that so many people hate you?" That question gives no useful information to the viewer. They're jokes.
February 08 2011 at 8:58 PM Report abuse Permalink -1 rate up rate down ReplyMany times I've doubted Glenn Beck; however, each time I've followed up and waited, I found he was correct. He told me all about SEIU and their leader and what they planned to do. Then SEIU did exactly what Glenn said they would do! When I watched in horror while a busload of SEIU union thugs & heckler gathered in the yard of a banker and terrified his 12 year old son I lost all respect for the SEIU. Glenn predicted that behavior and he was right. He told us that there was a communist in the White House, and sure enough, he brought sufficient heat that Van Jones was released by Obama. Glenn told us of the extreme influence of the lefties, and upon researching, he was right. I've got to admit some of Glenn's reports are really scary, But the scariest part of all is that his warnings are true. They may not all be true but I have not disproved any. I have yet to find anything to disprove anything he has told us on his show. The leftists are doing everything they can to discredit him, and I fear they might be successful. But I am relieved to see how many people quickly came to his side when this tripe appeared!

All my life the Kennedy's have managed to stay on top.
Glenn Beck is funny and informative. Laugh as I might, I can find very little that he gets wrong. His facts are solid.
February 08 2011 at 2:40 PM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplyHe belongs on the funny farm. His facts are cherry picked to suit his narrative and even then don't weave themselves into a sensible conclusion.
You are laughing at a parody of intellect.
Although Glenn goes a little wacky at times, the basics of what he says MOST of the time are along the lines of things happeneing in the world.
As far as islamic extremist destabilizing eygpt may not be too far off base, someone started the riots and it was not a call for democratic government they have no concept of democracy. Please check out denmark that had open arms policy to all islamic immigrants now finds itself in a fight for survival in the future. Please check out european news stories from various sources. It sent as chill trhrough me when an islamic radical gave a speech, he told the muslims in denmark to not use violence, but bide your time he called for muslims to multiply by increasing birth rate he stated trhe white population was on decrease and muslims increasing. He stated that through multiplying in 20 yrs muslims would be in positions of power and could institute islamic laws(SHARIAH). He3 said first Demark then Germany, France and England. I got news for you I coined a term "silent proliferation" meaning that the muslim religion by koaran or quaran is directed to kill anyone that renounces islam or anyone that is and "infidel" christians other "non-believers"
Glen breaks it down so a 5th grader can understand whast is happening, do i think he is right 100% of the time? No! But Americans are apathetic and politically ignorant compared to say europeans. Some body has to sound the warning, "
Them Radical Muslims are coming, the radical muslims are coming, mixed in with the good peaceful muslims....sorry they are called "sleeper agents" they will only show when it is time for them to carry out their "mission"!
Leftist socialist like the Obama administration and the actresses and actors that are so naieve to think that we can join hands and sing "kum-by-yah my lord"....... repeat with radical muslims arte nuts. check out cable news from all over the world and see what is being said and reported, many of the
Euro news stations broadcast in english.
The fact that anyone would be HAVING this conversation is rather amusing. The right AND left commentators are playing to their core audiences, and it is ENTERTAINMENT, not NEWS that they are providing. I recently heard someone I will not name (because what he said was embarrassing to HIM) say that Stephen Colbert is now the PREMIER source of news in America.
It's all entertainment. Period. Stephen will say that. Rush will say that. Glen will say that. Rod will say that. Even Larry King would say that. Sure, there must be elements of truth attached to the position espoused by each party, or now own but it is still televised entertainment, no more, no less. When the left is in power, the right is more entertaining. When the right is in power, the left is more entertaining. That is because attacking is easier and more entertaining than defending in any situation in life.
Superbowl included. (Pittsburg fan here. But, congratulations, Packers! Well played. But what was with that decision to go for a field goal rather than a touchdown at the end? A touchdown by the Steelers would have ended the game in our favor! Clever or cowardly--who knows, but definitely entertaining!)
If you believe all the conspiracies you are just buying into a loser mentality. If "they" (Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Freemasons, etc.) control everything then what's the point of going out and making something of your life? America was founded by people who went out and got things done, not by people who sat around and complained. Conspiracies are for losers. Make something of your life!
February 07 2011 at 4:04 PM Report abuse Permalink +3 rate up rate down ReplyIf you look at who all the wealthiest people were 40 years ago, and who they are now, you will see that they are different people. All those super rich puppetmasters we are told about don't seem to be able to stay on top, do they?

February 06 2011 at 8:51 PM Report abuse Permalink -5 rate up rate down ReplyLoved Glenn's "Founding Fridays" - renewed my love and respect for our Founding Fathers and their foresight. Also, kudos to Glenn for his good work with Wilmington, OH. The food pantry is fully stocked for another year thanks to him.
