Last week, North Carolina Republican Party Chairman Robin Hayes – who lost his U.S. House seat to Blue Dog Democrat Larry Kissell in 2008 -- said: "We look forward to Charlotte being in the spotlight in 2012, but North Carolinians will not be fooled again by empty promises of 'Hope' and 'Change.'" His statement went on to say: "We welcome the Democrats to Charlotte, but they must answer for their misguided policies that have led to more debt, more spending and more government."The folks in Charlotte will see that those attending the DNC Convention will have an excellent time. That's just good manners and good business. Don't get that confused with falling for their propaganda.

more tears from the "orange" man.
I think it is odd that Dems don't hold conventions in one of the many economically depressed cities that have been under their control for decades. Why won't they gather in Detroit, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Cleveland or Baltimore? The GOP has had national conventions in Detroit (1980), Philadelphia (2000), New York (2004) and Minneapolis/St. Pau; (all Dem strongholds)over the last 40 years. Shouldn't Dems give a fiscal boost to one of their dilapadated cities? Cities like Detroit, Philadelphia, Cleveland (to name a few) are case studies in how decades of Dem rule (these cities really have no Republican presence) have created anti-business, bloated pro-labor, politically corrupt, violent, crumbling, government aid dependent and anti-family cities that are examples of what NOT to do on just about every level.

The question is how will the Democrats Big Unions feel about using a very non union hotels
how will they possibly get the service with non union employees they are accustomed to in the hotels?
Another commenter was applauding the great number of jobs created. they better look again. The jobs that count and will lead us out of this hole are private sector jobs. Only 36,000 were created and more than that were government jobs the rest of the reduction in unemployment was people who gave up looking for a job and are living on assistance. Want to create jobs, freeze the Health care program until it can be thrown out or drastically worked over, cut the red tape and government intervention with nonsense regulations, States should re start their own oill drilling bring the rigs back in. Obama wont like it but he circumvents congress all the time so the states should take back that small part of the power he has illegally taken away. Lets get more private sector jobs and start laying off 30% of the unneeded civil service workers.

Just last night the Nightly Business Report said that the Dow is soaring because our manufacturing sector is at a six year high. They also report weekly where the jobs are being created -It is time to acknowledge that President Obama and his administration and legislation is indeed working. GOD BLESS PRESIDENT OBAMA
