Garrett Epps, a former reporter for The Washington Post, teaches Constitutional Law at the University of Baltimore. He is the author of Peyote v the State, The First Amendment: Freedom of the Press, and Democracy Reborn. Last year, he was a consultant for the plaintiffs in Judge v. Quinn, which unsuccessfully asked a court to order a special election to fill the Illinois Senate seat.
