Best known for his first of 14 novels SIX DAYS OF THE CONDOR that became a Robert Redford movie, James Grady has been a U.S. Senate aide and a national investigative reporter.
Grady’s Hollywood work includes scriptwriting for HBO, CBS, FX, Stephen Cannell, and John Woo. He’s published more than a dozen short stories.
France honored Grady’s career with its Grand Prix du Roman Noir and Italy awarded him its Raymond Chandler Medal.
Grady lives inside Washington, D.C.’s Beltway with his wife PoliticsDaily’s “Woman Up” writer Bonnie Goldstein. Their daughter film maker Rachel Grady is a 2007 Academy Award nominee (Best Feature Documentary) and their son Nathan is a college student.
