Joanne Bamberger is a writer and political/social media analyst. She is the founder of the political blog PunditMom, is an original member of the political blog MOMocrats, has been a contributor at MomsRising and BlogHer, and is a co-founder of The DC Moms blog.  Her commentary has appeared on CNN, Fox News, NPR and XM POTUS, among others. Joanne also speaks frequently at conferences about the rising influence of women in politics.

She is the author of the book Mothers of Intention: How Women and Social Media are Revolutionizing Politics in America (Bright Sky Press, Spring 2011). A former broadcast journalist and "recovering" attorney whose freelance work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Washington Examiner, Legal Times, and many other publications, Joanne lives outside of Washington, D.C. with her husband and fifth-grade daughter.
