Kase Wickman is a senior at Boston University, where she studies journalism and political science. She has worked at the Boston Globe, Hearst Newspapers Washington bureau and the Bangor Daily News in Maine, and was the managing editor of the Daily Free Press, the independent student newspaper at Boston University. She has also contributed to the Quincy Patriot Ledger, Huffington Post and Air America. A native of Oregon, she believes that umbrellas are for the weak, and that tomatoes should never come anywhere near clam chowder.
