Prior to entering the Medill School of Journalism, Kelsey Snell assisted the legal team at the Environmental Law & Policy Center in Chicago. She worked on environmental issues ranging from disinfection of the Chicago Area Waterways to Clean Air Act litigation involving Midwest coal plants. Ms. Snell has a background in urban politics and policy. Previously, she worked as an editor and writer covering Chicago politics and the arts for a variety of local publications. Ms. Snell has a BA in Political Science from DePaul University with a minor in Journalism.
