Linda Killian is a Washington journalist and a senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. She is currently working on a book called Swing about Independent/Centrist voters for St. Martin’s Press.
 
She is also a columnist for Politico.com and U.S. News & World Report.com and is the author of The Freshmen: What Happened to the Republican Revolution? about the congressional Republicans elected in 1994.
 
She has also written for The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The New Republic, The Weekly Standard, Washingtonian and People magazines.
 
Her television appearances include CNN, "Hardball with Chris Matthews," C-SPAN, MSNBC and the Fox News Channel.
 
She is the creator and former director of the Boston University Washington Journalism Center and a professor of journalism and the former senior editor of National Public Radio's "All Things Considered."
        
She has a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
