Melinda Henneberger is the editor-in-chief of PoliticsDaily.com, the author of If They Only Listened to Us: What Women Voters Want Politicians to Hear, published by Simon & Schuster, and a columnist for the Catholic opinion journal Commonweal. Previously, she was a reporter for The New York Times, where she worked for 10 years as a Washington correspondent and as the Rome bureau chief. Henneberger has also written a weekly column for Newsweek.com and has contributed to publications including The New York Times Magazine, GQ, Slate, and Reader’s Digest. An Illinois native and graduate of the University of Notre Dame, she received a graduate degree in European studies from the Catholic University of Louvain in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. She lives outside Washington, D.C., with her husband, Washington Post reporter Bill Turque, and their highly political 13-year-old twins.
