Rachel Leavitt is a sophomore at the University of Arizona. Creative writing stole her heart at the wee age of 10. As such, she is currently majoring in creative writing and pursuing a minor in philosophy. Her affection for journalism took flight early in her high school career, remaining a strong but distant man on the side. With a nickname of “Attitude” dating back to her toddler years, Rachel has always had a knack for voicing her opinions ad nauseam. So naturally, she is an opinions columnist for the Daily Wildcat, the student newspaper that she has also served as a copy editor for the last two semesters. When she’s not writing and philosophizing, Rachel enjoys reading books, watching movies, playing soccer and spending time with her friends and family.
