But the government hopes the new bill unveiled Wednesday will stymie counterfeiters with added security features, including watermarks, a 3-D security ribbon, and a color-changing image of a liberty bell in an inkwell just to the right of Ben Franklin's image. Obama Crowd 100,000 Strong in Denver
By David Knowles - Politics DailyBarack Obama continues to draw astonishing crowds in the final weeks of the election. Today in Denver he brought out 100,000 fans to hear him speak. Later, in Ft. Collins, Colorado, more than 45,000 turned up. In case you were wondering, Ft. Collins has a population of 118,652. Last weekend, Obama gave his stump speech underneath the St. Louis Arch to another 100,000-plus audience. More disturbing for McCain fans, a new Rocky Mountain News poll gives Obama a 12-pt. lead in Colorado. No wonder McCain has scaled back his ads in the state. ...
