Dennis Kucinich has posted his video responses on 10Questions.com. For those of you unfamiliar with this debate format, you can see my previous coverage here, with a rundown of the questions, my answers, and the candidates' answers to date. Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards is now the second candidate to post full responses to citizens' questions at 10Questions.com, following Republican candidate Mike Huckabee. Candidate and Illinois Senator Barack Obama answered question number 1 shortly after Huckabee, but, to date, has not responded to the rest. He supports net neutrality, and cleverly raises the spectre of Fox News vs. your Mom and Dad. For a review of the 10 Questions, click here, and here to see Huckabee's responses. Once the candidates respond, we the voters get to grade their answers, based solely on whether ...
Earlier this week, I did two stories (here and here) on 10questions.com, a site where citizens post questions for the candidates, and vote on the answers they receive. Well, voting on the Top 10 questions is closed, and Republican candidate Mike Huckabee has already submitted his answers. This is evidence that Huckabee's populism may be more than a gimmick. The answers themselves were fascinating, to say the least. Huckabee respects atheists more than some ...
I posted a story about 10questions.com yesterday, where everyday Americans can submit video questions for the presidential candidates, then vote on which ones will be asked of the candidates. It's a terrific idea, so of course, I waited until the last day for submissions to post a story about it. Never fear, though, for you and I still have a shot at being involved in the process. There's still time to vote for questions, so I have helpfully compiled my favorite questions, along with what I think the real answers would be if the candidates were given truth serum. (or a pitcher of Mojitos). Go ...
With all the hubbub recently about planted questions, covered here by Brandon Barker and David Knowles, wouldn't it be great if you could plant your own question for a candidate? Well, that's just what you can do at the 10 Questions website. The idea is to democratize debates by having people submit questions ion video, vote on which questions to make the candidates answer, then vote on their answers. Kind of a "Hot or Not" for candidates. I first heard of this on Afro-Netizen.com, but there is are lots of sponsoers, including the wonderful AOL. In order for this to be truly reflective of ...
