By David Sessions - Politics DailyThe New Jersey legislature on Monday made the Garden State the 14th in the U.S. -- but one of the few on the East Coast -- to legalize the prescription of marijuana for chronic illnesses, the New York Times reports. The measure, which would allow doctors to prescribe marijuana to those who suffer with AIDS, Lou Gehrig's disease, muscular dystrophy and other ailments, passed both the General Assembly and the State Assembly on the final day of the legislative session.
