In between all of that, I got to ask my first question as a White House reporter. I asked Robert Gibbs if the President has any actions planned in support of civil unions, given RNC chairman Michael Steele's attack Tuesday on extending the right to same-sex couples.Gibbs responded that he hadn't heard the remarks, so was unable to respond.
