Republican Hopefuls Lose Ground in Kentucky Senate Race

The two Democrats running for the seat of retiring GOP Sen. Jim Bunning in Kentucky have gained on the Republicans seeking the job, although they still trail in general election match-ups, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll conducted April 28. Last month, both Secretary of State Trey Grayson and eye doctor Rand Paul, a favorite of Tea Party activists, were above the 50 percent mark against Attorney General Jack Conway and Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo. But now they have dipped below that mark and their leads have lessened, particularly in the match-ups with Conway. Grayson leads Conway, 43 ...

Poll Shows Kentuckians Prefer Their Senator Not Be a Senile Old Coot

Bad news for any geriatric, senile, death-of-Supreme-Court-justice-predicting, Republican-Party-suing, Twitter-not-understanding, and just plain nutty old men who want to be elected Senator from Kentucky in 2010.The voters aren't behind you...A new survey released Wednesday paints a bleak 2010 picture for Kentucky Sen. Jim Bunning (RHP-KY), who then threatened to sue the party or resign his seat altogether. But now the New York Times is on the case, and they've reached a similar conclusion...While the Democrats are preoccupied with Senator Roland W.
