Sarah Palin Family Jokes; 7 Kathy Griffin Punch Lines [VIDEOS]

The mama grizzly's mad. In a weekend interview on Fox News, Sarah Palin finally responded to comedian Kathy Griffin, who has mined the Palin family for material since they landed on the national stage in 2008. Griffin is preparing for an upcoming guest spot on "Glee," in a role that's reportedly based loosely on Palin. The former governor's take? "She's a 50-year-old adult bully," Palin said, "kind of a has-been comedienne." Ouch. Watch: And, in case you missed any of the cracks, here's a brief rundown of Griffin's jokes at the Palin family's expense. 1. On owing Sarah Palin "a muffin ...

Klepto Kitty Gives Back Stolen Loot

Klepto Kitty Gives Back Stolen Loot

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- A kleptomaniac cat has given back his stolen loot in a reverse neighborhood garage sale. The owners of Dusty, a Siamese cat, displayed hundreds of items on tables in front of their Northern California home with hopes that the owners would claim their goods, ABC7-TV reported. Neighbors were invited to browse through the belongings and take what was theirs. And all the while, Dusty monitored the event as if he were making a mental note of which possessions were retrieved. "He just sat there and was watching this whole thing from under one of the bushes," owner Jean Chu ...

On 'Letterman,' Mitt Romney Reads Top 10 Things You Don't Know About Him

Politics is always changing, and now some of the obligatory stops for would-be presidential candidates include not just trips to Iowa and New Hampshire but late-night visits with David Letterman, Jay Leno and "Saturday Night Live." So it was not surprising to see Republican Mitt Romney pop up on Letterman's show Tuesday night and make his mark by reading the program's trademark "Top 10 List," which in this case was "Top 10 Things You Don't Know About Mitt Romney." The list may not quite rank as the best collection of "Top 10" knee-slappers, but the polished Romney, appearing tie-less ("I ...

Steve Nash Still With the Suns ... for Now

Steve Nash Still With the Suns ... for Now

The game itself, once again, did nothing to reveal the number of circles on Steve Nash's tree trunk. The ageless Phoenix Suns point guard was nearly perfect in a loss to the lowly Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, carving up one of the league's youngest teams with his trademark offensive brilliance. He hit all eight of his shots from the field and both of his free throws en route to a 20-point outing. Nash was his unselfish self with his teammates as well, and perhaps even too selfless this time around. He passed up an open layup in the final minute that would have cut the deficit to one, ...

Elton John, David Furnish Welcome Baby Boy: 5 Other Old Celebrity Dads

You can now add "father" to Sir Elton John's jam-packed resume. He and his partner, David Furnish, became the parents of a 7-pound, 15-ounce baby boy named Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish, born to an anonymous surrogate. Furnish is older than most new dads at 48, but at 62, John is entering fatherhood at an age when others are approaching grandfatherhood. By the time their son hits 18, John will be 80 years old. But in the world of celebrity, of course, age is just a number. Here are some other male celebrities still pumping out progeny well into their later years. Clint Eastwood The ...

2010: A Big Year for UFOs

Like a bad penny that keeps showing up, UFOs have been around on a regular basis from antiquity through modern day. And as 2010 unfolded, the UFO mythology was alive and well. Famed British astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, the pope's astronomer, a high-ranking Italian politician and even the late Winston Churchill (according to recently unearthed documents) helped keep UFOs in the news. And sightings of unexplained flying objects came in from all over the world. Let's take a look back at some of the more interesting, strange and funny stories involving UFOs and the possibilities of contact ...

Edison Pena, Chilean Miner, Sings Elvis on Letterman Appearance

Edison Pena, Chilean Miner, Sings Elvis on Letterman Appearance

For being stuck in a mine for 70 days, Edison Pena is surprisingly upbeat. He is in New York to run the New York City Marathon (apparently, Edison became known as "The Runner" for his daily workouts) and on Thursday he made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Pena spoke candidly about being trapped underground for more than two months, and through an interpreter he discussed the experience, right down to the hows and whys of using a (makeshift) bathroom in such a situation. And while that made for compelling television, the highlight was hearing Pena -- backed by Paul ...

Which McCourt Will Blink First in Dodgers Divorce Case?

LOS ANGELES -- It's the most expensive question in baseball right now: can Frank and Jamie McCourt make peace? On Friday in a closed Los Angeles courtroom, attorneys for the estranged spouses appeared before a mediator in an attempt to negotiate a settlement and end their ownership battle over the Los Angeles Dodgers. The mediation talks came on the heels of another dramatic session in the couple's divorce trial, which has centered on a marital property agreement they signed in 2004, shortly after the McCourts -- or maybe just Frank -- purchased the Dodgers from News Corp. for about $430 ...
