Deval Patrick

Democrat Deval Patrick became Massachusetts' first black governor in 2007 and is seeking a second term. He headed the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division during the Clinton administration from 1994-97. Later, he worked as general counsel for Texaco and Coca-Cola.
