Diane Denish

Democrat Diane Denish became New Mexico's first female lieutenant governor since 2003 after serving as chief of the state Democratic Party. She ran a market research and fundraising business before entering politics. Her late father, Jack Daniels, was a state representative who ran unsuccessfully for governor and U.S. Senate.
