Jerry Brown

Democrat Jerry Brown, currently California's attorney general, served as California's youngest governor from 1975 to1983 and, at age 72, hopes to become its oldest. The son of former Gov. Pat Brown has also been California's secretary of state, mayor of Oakland and a candidate for president and U.S. Senate.
