John Raese

Republican John Raese's business holdings include a newspaper, a chain of radio stations, a radio network, a steel and limestone company and Seneca Caverns, a tourist attraction. He ran unsuccessfully for Senate in 1984 and 2006 and governor in 1988. Raese chaired the state Republican Party in 1986 and has recently courted tea party groups.
