Pro-Life Senator Slams Sebelius for "Fatal Character Flaw"

Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), at left, went to the Senate floor moments ago to slam Health and Human Services nominee Kathleen Sebelius for her pro-choice position on abortion. Coburn, himself an OB-GYN, called Sebelius' position on late-term abortion "a drastic and fatal character flaw," and added, "I believe that's a disqualifier." He finished by saying he will mark her confirmation by the Senate as "another signpost on our way toward oblivion as a nation." The Capitolist will be following today's debate on Sebelius today, and will keep fellow Caps posted....expect a vote this evening. ...
