Conservatives Step Up Attacks on Kagan: 'It's Not Over Till It's Over'

The success of Elena Kagan's path to the U.S. Supreme Court comes down to numbers. Twelve Democrats and seven Republicans sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee that will take up her nomination Tuesday morning. In the full Senate, Kagan's nomination will go before a heavily Democratic chamber, where Democrats will outnumber Republicans, 59-41.
