Democrat Bill Owens in Lead for Upstate New York House Seat
By Bruce Drake - Politics DailyDemocrat Bill Owens leads Republican Dede Scozzafava 35 percent to 30 percent in the race to fill the seat of former GOP Rep. John McHugh, who was named Army Secretary earlier this year by President Obama, according to a Daily Kos/Research 2000 poll conducted Oct. 19-21. Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman draws 23 percent and 12 percent is undecided. The margin of error is 4 points. ...
