Ayotte Still Leading the Field in New Hampshire Senate Race

A new Rasmussen Reports poll in New Hampshire confirms what surveys have consistently been showing which is that the state's Republican Attorney General Kelly Ayotte has the best chance of the candidates in the GOP primary field to beat Democratic Rep. Paul Hodes in the race for the Senate seat being left open by the Judd Gregg. Ayotte leads Hodes 46 percent to 39 percent with 3 percent preferring some other candidate and 13 percent undecided. Hodes Can't Gain Ground on Ayotte in New Hampshire Senate Race

New Hampshire's Republican Attorney General Kelly Ayotte continues to be the strongest GOP candidate against Democratic Rep. Paul Hodes, leading him 41 percent to 33 percent with 25 percent undecided, according to a WMUR/University of New Hampshire Granite State poll conducted Jan. 27 - Feb. 3. The margin of error is 4.4 points. That's about the same margin Ayotte has enjoyed since October. Hodes leads the three other GOP hopefuls.
