(Oct. 19) -- A grass-roots movement has sprung up to protest the Campbell Soup Co. over the organization it's using to certify products sold in Canada as halal. The Camden, N.J., food company's Canadian subsidiary began offering halal soups, or those made in accordance with Islamic dietary laws, in January, The Washington Post reports. Pamela Geller called for a boycott through her widely read blog, Atlas Shrugs, the paper said.
