Prospects for a negotiated end to the threatened 9/11 Koran-burning by a small Florida church appear to be ebbing and flowing by the hour. On Friday afternoon, Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Muslim leader behind a controversial Islamic center proposed near ground zero, said that contrary to claims by Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, he has no meeting planned with the Jones in New York on Sept. 11.
