The impetus for Hoekstra's piece is the upcoming release of Dutch political leader Geert Wilders' critical film on Islam. The film, Fitna, apparently contains several images which Muslims are bound to find offensive. Veto Threat for Waterboarding Ban

The measure passed 222-199, far short of the 2/3 majority needed to override a presidential veto.
