Teens Love to Text, But Adults Do It Behind the Wheel
By Katie Drummond - Politics DailyEven though teens send more text messages, adults are more often guilty of typing out the cell phone notes while behind the wheel, according to a new survey from the Pew Internet and American Life Project. The organization polled 2,252 American adults, of whom 82 percent owned a cell phone. Of those, 58 percent sent text messages. Pew's findings led to a new report, tellingly dubbed "Adults and Cell Phone Distractions." My son came home from school the other day and showed me a short story he'd written.
