In a brief news dispatch today, North Korea said it arrested an American man for illegally entering the country from the Chinese border. The unidentified man was detained on Monday and is being questioned, according to the Korean Central News Agency. The U.S. State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment today. An Arizona man intent upon bringing a message of "Christ's love" to North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is apparently in custody after entering the communist nation on Christmas Eve. The state-run Korea Central News Agency said that an American was arrested after entering North Korea from China and is "now under investigation by a relevant organ."
