Perry Leads Hutchison in GOP Primary, but Hutchison Runs Stronger Against Dems

Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a 42 percent to 30 percent lead over Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison in a Republican primary match-up, with 7 percent for Debra Medina, a former GOP county chairman, according to a University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll conducted Oct. 20-27.
