The Washington Post's Dana Milbank reports that on Wednesday a majority of House Republicans voted "against motherhood." Actually, they voted against a resolution "celebrating the role of mothers in the United States and supporting the goals and ideals of Mother's Day." After the resolution passed unanimously, Republican Representative Todd Tiahrt of Kansas stood up and said, "Mr. Speaker, I move to reconsider the vote."
