(July 21) -- Six Afghan policemen have been beheaded by insurgents who overran a checkpoint in northern Afghanistan, NATO said today. The victims were members of the Afghan National Police force in the Dahanah-ye Ghori district of northern Baghlan province, the international force said in a statement on its website. They were killed Tuesday when insurgents ambushed a police checkpoint and cut off their heads, it said.
