By David Sessions - Politics DailyA new BBC poll shows that people in 28 countries have a more positive view of the United States since Barack Obama was elected in November 2008. It is the first time in the five-year history of the poll, which calculates world opinion of various nations, that American influence has been viewed as more positive than negative. Out of 30,000 people interviewed between November 2009 and February 2010, 40 percent view the United States favorably, another jump in an upward trend that began shortly after Obama's election.
