Atlanta 6-Year-Old Sells Art for Japan

Like many a sentimental mom, Keely Muse kept all of her daughter's preschool artwork. She probably never dreamed she'd one day sell it to help struggling people across the globe. Tuesday Muse, a 6-year-old kindergartner, may not understand the scope of devastation in Japan, but she knows enough to want to help. "I saw people getting hurt and drowning," she told WXIA-TV. Her mom asked her to think of something she was good at, and to use that talent to help. "That's when she told me, 'I'm a really good artist,'" Keely told WXIA. She enlisted friend and fellow 6-year-old artist Stella, and ...

Two World War II-Era Letters Arrive Decades Late

Miss R.T. Fletcher, American Red Cross, Station Hospital, Camp Roberts, California An envelope thus addressed to a now-mysterious Miss Fletcher arrived at Camp Roberts last month, 67 years after an equally unknown correspondent dispatched it.
