Administration Buys $700,000 TV Ad Touting Health Care Law
By Christopher Weber - Politics DailyThe Obama administration has hired a familiar face to pitch its health care law to seniors in a new television ad. Andy Griffith, of Mayberry and "Matlock" fame, appears in the 30-second spot being rolled out on cable channels starting Friday. The 84-year-old actor tells seniors that "good things are coming" under the health care overhaul, including "free checkups, lower prescription costs and better ways to protect us and Medicare from fraud."
