KABUL, Afghanistan -- A militant who led operations in Afghanistan for an al-Qaida-linked terror group has been captured in the north where his fighters joined forces with the Taliban to step up attacks against Afghan and coalition forces, NATO said Friday. The senior figure from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan was apprehended in Kunduz province along with two of this associates, the coalition said. After years of snatching picnic baskets and duping park rangers without consequence, Yogi Bear appears to have finally been trapped by police in Utah. Officers from the Utah County Sheriff's Office apparently captured the famed Hanna-Barbera character on fishing without a license, immigration charges and other offenses. Police in Virginia have charged a woman with felony counts of maiming livestock for allegedly decapitating one pig and stabbing another. Ashley Marie Fowler, 21, of Portsmouth, has been charged with two felony counts of killing/maiming livestock, one count of misdemeanor vandalism and one count of possession of prescription pills, police said.
