(Nov. 30) -- That wacky Christmas ditty "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" may be a song about a sweet old granny's untimely death, but believe it or not, some grandmas actually dig the dig. Dr. Elmo Shropshire, singer of the catchy 1979 novelty tune, told AOL News that after 31 years of holiday airplay, it seems grandmothers have finally taken a liking to his silly song. "Grandmas actually love it. I've heard from many over the years who've bought the CD for their grand-kids. Earlier this month, Mark and Tommy posted stories about an article on Rush's ratings and whether they doubled. At the time I had to agree with Tommy that it was highly suspect that Rush's ratings actually doubled. I thought they had gone up, but when you have twenty million listeners, the law of diminishing returns kicks in.Let's get the claim accurate. According to Talkers magazine earlier this month, Rush's ratings nearly doubled from 14 to 25 million. And now we have some hard numbers rolling in to check the claim.
