The Washington Post has the details surrounding the release of a videotaped message from Osama bin Laden last month. The tape, first aired on September 7th, was known to the government in advance, thanks to the work of a private intelligence gathering company known as SITE. SITE, which stands for Search for International Terrorist Entities, intercepted the tape days before its scheduled release.
