Obama Offers Condolences Over UK Aid Worker's Death

LONDON (Oct. 12) -- President Barack Obama has offered his condolences to British Prime Minister David Cameron over the death of a British hostage in Afghanistan, who may have been killed by a grenade thrown by U.S. special operations forces during a failed rescue mission. During a telephone call to No. 10 Downing Street Monday night, the president promised Cameron that he "would get to the bottom of what happened," according to a White House press release.
