If Mitt Romney wants to engage on this topic, he'll have to explain why he doesn't support civil unions like President Bush did in 2004 which could roll back a whole host of rights and benefits for gay couples, and why he wants to enshrine discrimination into the Constitution by passing a federal marriage amendment."
