Missouri Senate: GOP's Sarah Steelman Already in Race to Oppose McCaskill

Here we go. Sarah's running in 2012. No, not that Sarah -- we're talking about former Missouri Treasurer Sarah Steelman, a Republican who announced Wednesday she's in the race to unseat Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) two years from now. Steelman, a bit of a maverick herself, irked GOP leaders in 2008 when she opposed former Rep. Kenny Hulshof in a hard-fought Republican gubernatorial primary, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
