Democrats Vow to Stop Campaign Finance Changes After Supreme Court Ruling

Hours after the Supreme Court ruled that corporations and unions can spend unrestricted amounts of money to influence political elections, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) said they will hold hearings and introduce legislation in an effort to blunt the effect of the decision.Schumer called the decision in Citizens United v.
