Although many of the specifics are not yet public, the company did emphasize that the Focus Electric's charging time will be just half that of competing electric vehicles. But in order for that to happen, people are going to have to buy them, and a new study suggests that will be the biggest stumbling block in building the transportation of the future. (Oct. 11) -- The Volt, Chevrolet's new quasi-electric car, doesn't go into production until Nov. 11. But some select journalists got a chance to test-drive the car early, and the first reviews are starting to crop up. The consensus seems to be that it works.
