For years now, we've been told that it's in the best interest of babies to be breast-fed exclusively for six months. But a new study, out today in the British Medical Journal, says that for babies in the Western world, exclusively breast-feeding for six months might not be the best idea. Currently, the U.K. abides by World Health Organization guidelines that recommend that all babies ought to be fed only breast milk until they are 6 months old.
