Click here to visit the new home of Politics Daily!(Nov. 23) -- Perhaps Chris Wallace was busy. Posing for pictures that accompany her interview with GQ magazine, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly dons attire that some viewers may find a tad risque. Indeed, red high heels and a tight-fitting Dolce & Gabbana slip might seem like an odd get-up to wear for pictures that accompany an albeit brief discussion of feminism. In an article titled "She Reports, We Decided She's Hot," both the pictures and text of the GQ spread attest that Kelly is perfectly comfortable showing a little skin to the camera. "People want to see the anchor," Kelly told Greg ...

(Oct. 22) -- So my fellow Fox News analyst Juan Williams just got fired for saying something supposedly controversial about Muslims. But make no mistake, Juan isn't the only casualty today. So is American liberalism. On "The O'Reilly Factor" on Monday night, Williams said, "I mean, look, Bill, I'm not a bigot. You know the kind of books I've written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get ...
NEW YORK (Oct. 15) -- Fox News' Bill O'Reilly caused quite a stir when he appeared on ABC's "The View" Thursday arguing against the construction of Park51, the so-called "ground zero mosque" with such vehemence that he caused two of the show's outspoken, and liberal, hosts, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, to leave the stage. But later in the evening, he took to his own show, "The O'Reilly Factor," to defend his remarks. Watch them here below: Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com "No one I know, no one, wants to insults Muslims," O'Reilly said. "But almost everybody I know is tired of ...
NEW YORK (Oct. 14) -- New York City officials aren't the only ones to express their shock, dismay, outrage and disgust with a series of brutal anti-gay attacks police say were perpetrated by 10 street gang members last week (who have since been arrested and charged with hate crimes). In fact, one of the most recent strongest voices of condemnation has been none other than that of Fox News host Glenn Beck. On his show Wednesday night, Beck deliberately sidestepped what he said was "the main story of the day," the rescue of the 33 trapped Chilean miners, to segue into a long rumination on the ...
On Glenn Beck's radio show recently, the host shared a discussion he had prior to Saturday's "Restoring Honor" rally with Fox News' colleague Bill O'Reilly (video below). According to Beck, O'Reilly told him: "I tell you what: If you have over a hundred or 200,000 [at the rally], you need to anchor the 8 p.m. show." O'Reilly's comments, of course, were probably made in jest. But it does make one wonder -- if Glenn Beck can turn out 300,000 supporters (estimates vary) to the Lincoln Memorial, has he earned a prime-time spot? That Glenn Beck has achieved the level of success he has at the 5 ...
NEW YORK (Aug. 1) -- Fox News Channel has been granted a much-coveted front-row seat in the White House briefing room. The White House Correspondents Association said Sunday that The Associated Press' reporter has been moved to the front-row center seat previously occupied by Helen Thomas. Fox's correspondent will take the AP's former front-row seat, and National Public Radio's correspondent will move up one row to Fox's old second-row seat. The center seat was long held by Thomas, a United Press International and Hearst News Service writer. The 89-year-old columnist resigned abruptly in ...
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said early Wednesday that he will review the case of an Agriculture Department official who resigned after a video clip surfaced of her apparently admitting to providing a white farmer with inferior service. Shirley Sherrod, who is African-American, resigned Monday under pressure after the video clip first appeared on a conservative website and later on Fox News. In the video, she seemed to tell an audience she did not do her utmost to help a white farmer avoid foreclosure. However, Sherrod later said the clip only showed part of her comments, and that she ...
At least one of the Bush daughters has strayed from the Republican party line -- not to mention her own father's stance -- and endorsed the Democrats' $800 billion health reform package. Barbara Bush, the 28-year-old daughter of former President George W. Bush, told Fox News she was "glad" to see the health reform bill passed. "Health care should be a right for everyone," she told Fox host Chris Wallace. In an interview with the Washington Times last year, President Bush expressed "worry" over the prospect of "encouraging the government to replace the private sector when it comes to ...
Fox News' Brian Wilson made some waves yesterday with a post arguing that a 90-year-old law may be impeding the cleanup efforts in the Gulf oil spill. The Jones Act, enacted in 1920, places restrictions on certain shipborne activities in U.S. waters to boats built in the U.S. and operated by American workers. Foreign Policy magazine noted last month that a number of nations had offered to help contain the spill by sending over skimmer ships, but US officials turned the offers down, saying thanks, but they could handle the spill on their own. It was unclear what was going on at the time, but ...
