In a recent Love and Politics survey by Zoosk, a popular online dating site, the former Alaska governor pulled in the highest percentage of votes for "most datable" female politician, at 32 percent. San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome took to the internets today to announce he is running to be the next governor in the state of California. Initially, word of his candidacy went out on Twitter (where Newsome has some 275,000 "followers"), then was posted at Facebook, YouTube, and MySpace.
