John Barry Died: A Video Tribute for the Acclaimed 'James Bond' Composer
By Steven Hoffer - AOL NewsJohn Barry, the acclaimed composer who did the scores for 11 James Bond films, died on Sunday. He was 77. Barry began his relationship with the James Bond franchise when he arranged fellow composer Monty Norman's score for the first 007 film, 1962's "Dr. No." The experience led Barry to a career spanning more than 45 years, including five Oscars wins for his work on films including "Born Free," "Out of Africa," "Dances With Wolves" and "The Lion in Winter."
