It has more to do with reducing your chances of getting cancer than it does with making your love handles smaller. Under new British Department of Health guidelines that are about to be issued, the Scientific Committee on Nutrition has cautioned grown-ups not to eat more than 17.5 ounces of red meat each week. That's a bit more than four Quarter Pounders. They warn that ...
Ronald McDonald is the victim of a crime -- and this time the Hamburglar isn't to blame. A group of artists and activists in Finland kidnapped a Ronald McDonald sculpture from a McDonald's restaurant and, despite the efforts of police, managed to behead a version of the fast-food icon in a grisly recording shot in the style of terrorist videos. Members of the so-called Food Liberation Army are believed to have kidnapped Ronald McDonald from one of the chain's Helsinki locations after presenting restaurant employees with phony documents, the Helsinki Times reports. ...

But just because the first In-N-Out is gone doesn't mean you can't visit the birthplace of many other fast-food legends. Chris Epting for AOL News The ...
With the exception of the vegetarians among us, most of us love to sink our teeth into a big, juicy, beef burger now and then. Perhaps we are satisfying some primal desire when we do this. Apparently, we may also taking a big gamble with our health. On Sunday, the New York Times ran a front-page, above-the-fold story about a 22-year-old dance instructor named Stephanie Smith who suffered severe E. coli poisoning in 2007 after eating a hamburger that her mother had grilled. According to the story, the food poisoning "ravaged her nervous system and left her paralyzed." It's unlikely that she ...
