Now people can support the homeless by putting their spare change into shiny, red parking meters that will be installed throughout the city. The program, dubbed the Homeless Outreach Service Team, or HOST, was created in response to the many homeless panhandlers in Salt Lake. Proceeds collected from the meters will go to the Pamela J.
